Celebrating the 3rd China Space Day, creating a new era for space

On April 24, 2018, to celebrate the 3rd China Space Day, the Shanghai Institute of Science Propulsion (SISP) held a flag-raising ceremony before its headquarters building in Wanfang Road, Minhang District. Xia Fang, General Manager of Astropulsion Co., Ltd. (Astropulsion) attended the solemn ceremony alongside the Youth League Committee and staff representatives of Astropulsion.

Zhu Zhichun, Chairman of SISP addressed the ceremony. He reviewed the development of China's space industry, stressed that all should remember history and take on responsibility, and called on all to carry forward the spirit of space and resolutely make new contributions to space industry and space power construction.

The flag-raising ceremony started at 9 AM. Toward the sun, in high spirits and vigorous strides, six flag bearers marched to the poles for the five-star red flag and the flag of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). To the majestic national anthem of the People's Republic of China, the bright five-star red flag and the flag of CASC rose.

For years, under the wise leadership of the Party Leadership Group of CASC, Astropulsion has strengthened Party governance persistently, comprehensively and strictly, created a favorable atmosphere of cleanness and uprightness, adhered to innovation drive, improved development quality and benefit, and kept enhancing its comprehensive strength. The atmosphere of "rolling up sleeves to work harder" has become increasingly strong among cadres and staff. Astropulsion will continue to inherit and promote the work style of "strictness, prudence, carefulness and steadiness", the spirit of "two bombs and one satellite" and the spirit of manned space flight, endeavor to improve the level of professional management, ensure work safety, firmly fulfill annual business, production and R&D tasks, further consolidate the confidence and determination to win the tough battle of reform and development, and strive for a new victory in development
